About this card

NordPass is Nord Security's end-to-end encrypted password manager — the third Nord product on this catalog, alongside NordVPN (private connectivity) and NordLocker (encrypted cloud storage). All three are run by the same Vilnius engineering team (Tefincom S.A., Panama-registered for jurisdiction). NordPass launched in 2019 with a zero-knowledge architecture: every entry in your vault — passwords, secure notes, payment cards, passkeys — is encrypted client-side with XChaCha20 before it ever leaves your device. Only you hold the master password; NordPass servers cannot decrypt your vault, even when compelled. The product runs across web, iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, plus browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.

The card delivers a USD wallet credit that you apply at nordpass.com → Account → Billing. The credit sits as a positive balance and burns down as renewals charge against it. It applies to any paid plan tier: Premium (unlimited devices, password health auditor, data breach scanner, ~$1.49–$1.99/mo on annual billing), Family (6 Premium accounts under one plan, ~$3.69–$4.99/mo), or Business per-seat tiers if redeemed on a workspace. The Free tier (basic vault, 1 active device) does not need this card. Wallet credit covers monthly or annual renewals indistinctly; multiple top-ups stack — redeem several in a row to bank a longer runway.

If you already pay for NordVPN or NordLocker on this site, extending to NordPass keeps the whole Nord stack — private connectivity, encrypted storage, password vault — funded over the same crypto rail. The three products complement each other: NordVPN keeps your network layer private, NordLocker keeps your file-storage layer private, NordPass keeps your credential layer private. This card is for the password manager specifically — not NordVPN, not NordLocker. The activation paths are different (NordAccount → Subscriptions for VPN; nordlocker.com → Billing for storage; nordpass.com → Billing for the password vault), and codes are not interchangeable between the three products.

Redemption: log in to nordpass.com → Account → Add credit / apply gift code → enter the code → balance applies to your current or next renewal. The code is a bearer token: no signup, no identity check, no card on file required to redeem (a fresh account can fund its very first subscription directly from this credit). Forward the code over Signal, paper, whatever — whoever holds it can apply it. Once on the account, the balance has no expiry; renewals charge against it before any card on file is touched. Passkey users redeem the same way as master-password users: the gift code is a billing-side token, independent of how you authenticate into the vault.

What you get

  • A claim code, delivered by email
  • A private order page (14-day access)
  • Re-issue or full refund if the code fails
  • No NordPass login or ID required

Asked & answered

Specifics for NordPass cards. For general crypto-payment questions, see the site FAQ.

Is this gift card for NordPass, NordVPN, or NordLocker?

This is the NordPass card — Nord Security's end-to-end encrypted password manager. NordPass is a sibling product to NordVPN (the no-logs VPN) and NordLocker (encrypted cloud storage), all from the same Vilnius engineering team (Tefincom S.A., Panama parent). The three Nord cards on this catalog are not interchangeable: each redeems on its own dashboard. If you wanted a VPN renewal, look for the NordVPN card; if you wanted encrypted cloud storage, the NordLocker card. NordPass redeems at nordpass.com → Account → Add credit / apply gift code, and the resulting wallet balance covers any paid NordPass plan.

Which NordPass plan does this card work on?

The wallet credit applies to any paid NordPass tier at the prevailing retail rate: Premium (unlimited devices, password health audit, data breach scanner, ~$1.49–$1.99/mo on annual billing) or Family (6 Premium accounts under one plan, ~$3.69–$4.99/mo). It also works on Business and Enterprise per-seat tiers if redeemed on a Business workspace. The Free tier (basic vault, 1 active device) does not need this card — it is gratis already. Switching tiers later does not strand the balance: it simply applies to whichever plan you are renewing.

Can I use it for a renewal of an existing NordPass subscription?

Yes — that is the most common use case. Sign in to nordpass.comAccount → Billing → apply the gift code. The credit lands as a positive balance, and your next renewal (monthly or annual) charges against it before any card on file is touched. If your subscription is currently expired, applying the credit reactivates it forward from the redemption date. The card also works to start a brand-new subscription on a fresh account with no card on file — useful for a clean privacy-first setup.

Does NordPass support passkeys, and does that affect how I redeem?

Yes — NordPass added passkey storage and autofill in 2023 and currently supports both syncing and offline-cached passkeys across browser extensions and mobile apps. Redemption is unaffected by your authentication method: the gift code is a billing-side bearer token, not a vault credential. Whether you log in with master password, passkey, or biometric unlock, the redemption flow is the same — Account → Billing → Apply gift code. Passkey users get the same wallet balance as password users, applied to the same renewal cycle.

Does the card expire?

The wallet code itself is valid 12 months from issue (printed on the delivery email). Once you apply it to a NordPass account, the resulting balance has no expiry — it sits on the account indefinitely and burns down as renewals charge against it. Multiple top-ups stack on the same account: redeem several cards in a row to bank a longer runway (useful if you are funding Family or Business with several years of crypto-paid runway up front). Unused balance is non-refundable to crypto once redeemed (NordPass billing terms apply), so size the top-up to your plan tier.

Can I gift it forward to someone else?

Yes — the wallet code is a bearer token. Whoever holds the code can redeem it on any NordPass account; no signup or identity check is required before the code is applied. Send the code over Signal, Session, paper, anything you trust. The recipient does not need to have ever heard of you (or of us). This makes the card a clean way to onboard someone to a real password manager without putting "PASSWORD MANAGER" — a clear behavioural signal — on a card statement that ties back to either of you.

What if the code does not work?

Open your order page (link in the delivery email) within 14 days and we re-issue a fresh code or refund in your original coin at the rate at time of order. Most failures are typos in the code (it is case-sensitive); second most common is attempting to redeem on a still-unverified email account — verify the email at nordpass.com first, then redeem. After 14 days, support is best-effort: NordPass holds the wallet ledger, not us, and they handle refund/re-issue requests directly.

Why pay for a password manager in crypto?

A password manager is the keychain to everything — banks, email, exchanges, hosting, work logins. Anyone who knows you use one knows where the high-value targets live. Paying with a card defeats half of that defence: your bank sees a recurring "password manager" line, when you renew, and roughly which tier (so roughly how many accounts you guard). Paying in Bitcoin or Monero closes that signal — the funding source matches the threat model of the product itself. Zero-knowledge vault funded over a non-KYC crypto rail is the cleanest commercially-available password manager setup. We pass the crypto-rail savings back as up to 2 % off retail.
