HomeGoods is TJX's off-price home banner: roughly 900 US stores stacked with rugs, lamps, cookware, bedding, wall art, storage and furniture, bought as closeout and end-of-line lots rather than ordered as a planned range. Nothing is guaranteed to still be there next week, which is why regulars treat the place as a hunt — and why a fixed balance is a better gift than any specific item.
The card is not really a HomeGoods-only card. TJX honours the same number at HomeGoods, T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, Homesense and Sierra stores across the United States — more than 3,300 doors between them — and online at tjmaxx.com, marshalls.com and sierra.com. Five chains, one balance: if today's aisle turns up nothing, the money walks out of the store with you.
The constraint worth knowing before you pay is the other side of that: homegoods.com does not sell anything. HomeGoods tried a web store and closed it, and the site is now a store locator, a gift-card page and a balance checker. So HomeGoods itself is an in-person spend, and the online half of the balance goes to the three TJX sites that do have a checkout. The e-gift card arrives as a printable, scannable card and can also be loaded into Apple Wallet.
Buying it here needs no TJX account, no card on file and no identity check — a delivery email, a payment in the coin you already hold, and the code lands in about eleven minutes. The balance carries no expiration date and no dormancy, service or inactivity fee. It is a United States card: TJX's European arm (TK Maxx and the British Homesense) and its Canadian arm (Winners, Marshalls Canada, HomeSense) run separate gift-card programmes that will not read this number.
