About this card
Swissôtel is the Swiss-founded upscale brand that puts Alpine precision into large city hotels — a compact portfolio rather than a chain you trip over, spread across Europe, the Middle East and Asia with names like Swissôtel The Stamford in Singapore, Swissôtel The Bosphorus in Istanbul and Swissôtel Corniche Park Towers in Doha. In the United States the brand is essentially one address, and it is a good one: Swissôtel Chicago, the triangular tower above the Chicago River with lake views on two sides and the Loop at the door.
Two brand signatures are worth knowing before you spend the card, because they are what the money buys beyond a bed. Pürovel Spa & Sport is the house spa concept, built around Alpine herbs, with treatments and a fitness floor; Vitality is the brand's wellness and nutrition programme running through the menus and the rooms. Charges from both are billed to the room, which matters here: this card settles the folio, so it covers the nightly rate and the restaurant, bar and spa that land on it, rather than just the accommodation line.
Now the part buyers get wrong. Swissôtel belongs to Accor, and people reasonably assume an Accor card. It is not one. This is a property-level US gift card for participating Swissôtel hotels, and it is not accepted at Sofitel, Fairmont, Raffles, Pullman, Novotel, Mercure or Ibis. It is also not an ALL — Accor Live Limitless instrument: it does not top up an ALL account, does not buy Reward nights, and does not turn into points. Book whatever rate you like, including a members' rate, and the card simply pays the resulting bill.
The redemption is old-fashioned and worth planning for: the eGift is printed and presented at the front desk. A screenshot on arrival is not the process the property is set up for, so print it before you travel, and if the stay is at a Swissôtel outside the US, call ahead rather than assuming — the card is issued for the US programme. Buying it here needs no hotel account, no card on file and no identity check: a delivery email, the coin you already hold, and the code lands in about eleven minutes once payment confirms on chain.
What you get
- A claim code, delivered by email
- A private order page (14-day access)
- Re-issue or full refund if the code fails
- No Swissôtel login or ID required
