Cards are region-locked to the country store: a US card redeems only on hotels.com (US store), a UK card only on hotels.com/en-gb, a German card only on hotels.com/en-de, and so on for the 7 markets we sell — US, UK, DE, FR, CA, AU, JP. This is Hotels.com — the Expedia Group hotel-booking platform that runs hotels.com and its country stores (hotels.com/en-gb, hotels.com/en-de, etc). Which Hotels.com store does this card work on?

Whichever country store matches the variant you buy. A US card redeems only on hotels.com (the US store). A UK card redeems only on hotels.com/en-gb. A German card on hotels.com/en-de, French on hotels.com/en-fr, Canadian on hotels.com/en-ca, Australian on hotels.com/en-au, Japanese on hotels.com/en-jp. The store URL is shown on each variant chip and again on your order confirmation.

Can I use a US card on hotels.com/en-gb?

No. Hotels.com gift cards are region-locked: the issuing country's store is the only store that will accept the code. Pick the recipient's country carefully before checkout. If you bought the wrong region, open your order page within 14 days — we'll refund in the original coin so you can re-purchase the correct one. Codes that have already been redeemed cannot be refunded.

Can I earn One Key OneKeyCash when I pay with this card?

Can I split the gift card across multiple bookings?

Yes — Hotels.com supports partial redemption. Apply the card at checkout, the booking total deducts from the card balance, and any remaining balance stays on the same 16-digit code for future bookings on the same country store. You can also stack multiple Hotels.com gift cards on a single booking.

What if my booked hotel cancels — does my gift balance come back?

For refundable rates and operator-cancelled bookings, refunds credit back to the original payment method. When that method was a Hotels.com gift card, the refunded amount returns to the gift card balance (same 16-digit code), available for a future booking. Non-refundable rates follow their own cancellation terms — read the rate rules before booking. Refunds never go back to crypto.

What if my code doesn't work?

Open your order page (link in the email) within 14 days. We re-issue a fresh code or refund in your original coin — no forms, no proof.
