Dave & Buster's is a sports bar bolted to a mega-arcade: around 170 locations across the United States, each pairing a full kitchen and bar with a floor of two hundred-plus games — driving cabinets, skee-ball, basketball, virtual-reality rigs, the crane machines — and a wall of screens showing whatever is on. Eat, drink, play, watch, in whatever order the evening takes.

On the arcade side you take it to a Power Card kiosk or the front desk and buy game play with it: the Power Card is the plastic that carries the credit and the E-Tickets, the gift card is what pays for it. The two are not the same object and value never flows back the other way.

What the card does not reach is contracted business. Private parties, booked group events and corporate functions are quoted and invoiced by the venue's events team on their own paperwork, and a gift card is not the instrument that settles them. Walk-in spending is entirely inside it — a table, a round, a stack of game play, something off the merchandise counter on the way out.

Can it load my Power Card?

Yes — that is one of the two main things it does. Take it to a Power Card kiosk or the front desk, choose a game-play package, and pay with the gift card. The credit lands on the Power Card, which is the plastic that runs the games; the gift card is the money that bought it. They are separate objects and only one direction works.

Does it cover food, drinks, tax and the tip?

Does the balance expire?

No. Under the chain's standard US terms the balance does not expire and carries no dormancy or inactivity fee, so a card can sit in a wallet for months without losing value. Codes are single-use and not reloadable, so when the value is spent the card is finished rather than topped up.

Can I combine several cards, or pay the difference another way?

Both. Multiple codes can be applied to one bill or to one game-play purchase, and if a big table runs past what the cards cover, the remainder simply goes on another payment method. Anything left after a visit stays on the card, so a large balance can comfortably stretch across several evenings.

Do I need the app or a Rewards account to use it?
